a. Automated data collection
During your visit to our websites you can move freely and anonymously on our publicly accessible websites. The websites which link you to us, as well as the websites that you visit from our site, the access data, as well as the duration of the visit, are also automatically stored. It is not possible to draw conclusions to your identity or to create user profiles. You remain completely anonymous as an individual user. For the shopping cart function of our shop we use session cookies in order to make the use of our online offer more pleasant for you, make certain functions possible and to be able to clearly assign orders to you as our customer. In addition, we do not track your search path.
b. Collection of personal data
You are requested to enter personal data within the framework of the ordering or query process. This is the only personal data that we collect, store and process.
2. Why is personal data collected?
We collect and store your personal data for the purposes of market research and opinion polling and also only to the extent necessary for the processing of your order or insofar as you have given your consent, e.g. to create a customer account or to register for our newsletter. The personal data you disclose shall be treated in strict confidence by us and only forwarded to third parties if this is necessary for the order processing, e.g. disclosure of order data to suppliers. The personal data collected is used as a request for proof of identity and for processing requests and orders. Your data is stored in our prospective customer base for the processing of requests, however it is not used for any other purpose beyond the processing of the request. Please note that we regularly inform you about product and price improvements in our product groups.
3. When is personal data collected?
Personal data is stored when sending the order or request. Up to this point we do not store any data, meaning you can view our products completely anonymously.
4. Who has access to personal data?
Our employees have access to your data when they process and handle your business affairs. They are obligated to only process or use personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the respective task and have been notified that these obligations continue upon completion of the activity. Furthermore, our employees are informed of the data protection regulations in detail, made aware of data protection confidentiality, as well as sworn to secrecy and instructed about criminal consequences of breaches.
Under no circumstances shall we rent or sell your personal data to third parties for their use. Personal data shall only be used for processing your orders, responding to your queries, as well as for the internal compilation of anonymous statistics. Exceptions exist only for services requested by you, which include consent to use your data, as well as for disclosure of your data to government institutions and authorities by law. We shall pass on collected and stored data with your consent within the framework of contractual agreements to business partners, insofar as this is required in your interest. Like our own employees, our business partners (and their employees) are also obligated to comply with the data protection regulations according to the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) or the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
5. What rights does the user have with regard to his personal data?
If consent was required to use your personal data, you may revoke this consent at any time by sending a letter to MEVACO GmbH, Vordere Karlstr. 12, 73033 Göppingen or an e-mail to email@example.com.
b. Data transfer
You have the right to request a copy of data, which we process automatically on the basis of your consent or during the fulfilment of a contract, for yourself or a third party in a common, machine-readable format. Insofar as you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible body, this shall only be effected where it is technically feasible.
c. Deletion of personal data
Stored personal data is deleted when the user of the website and/or the customer revokes the consent for the storage, when the information is no longer required for fulfilling the purpose for which it was stored or when its storage is not allowed on other legal grounds. Data for billing and accounting purposes shall not be affected thereby.
6. How is compliance with data protection regulations and other relevant laws guaranteed?
We assure to adopt all necessary technical and organisational measures in order to guarantee appropriate protection of your personal data.
This website uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are stored locally on your computer. They enable the recognition of your Internet browser and the analysis of the website usage. The data collected through the storage of cookies cannot be evaluated personally. The data is used solely for evaluating and optimising the website. You can prevent the installation of cookies with a corresponding setting on your browser software; however, please note that with this setting it may not be possible to fully use all functions of this website.
Anonymised data is recorded and stored using solutions and technologies from econda GmbH to ensure that this website has a needs-appropriate design and to optimise this website; to this end usage profiles using pseudonyms are also created from this data. Cookies may be used for this purpose which make possible the recognition of an Internet browser. However, usage profiles are not merged with data about the bearer of the pseudonym without the express consent of the visitor. IP addresses are made unrecognisable immediately upon receipt, whereby an assignment of usage profiles to IP addresses is not possible. The use of pseudonymised data is effected on the basis of the provisions of §15 Section 3 TMG. Visitors to this website may object to this data acquisition and storage at any time with effect for the future. The objection shall only apply to the device and web browser on which it was set. If necessary, please repeat the process on all devices. If you delete the opt-out cookie, requests are sent to econda again.
9. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and allow the analysis of the usage of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of this website (including your IP address) is sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google shall use this information in order to evaluate your usage of the website, to compile reports about the website activities for the website operator and to provide further services associated with the website usage and Internet usage. If necessary, Google shall also transfer this information to third parties, where required to do so by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Under no circumstances shall Google associate your IP address with other data of Google. You can prevent the collection and dissemination of this information to Google Inc. by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. However, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website.
This website uses Google Analytics with the additional feature "AnonymizeIP". This means that IP addresses are not stored and processed in their entirety, but in abbreviated form, in order to rule out a direct identification with the person. By using this website you hereby agree to the processing of data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose. The data sent by us and linked to cookies, usernames (e.g. user IDs) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period is reached is automatically deleted once a month.
10. Google Remarketing and AdWords
a. Use of the remarketing or "Similar target groups" feature of Google Inc.
b. Use of Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
On our website we use the online advertising programme "Google AdWords" and in this framework Conversion Tracking (visitor activity analysis). The Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is saved on your computer for the Conversion Tracking. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain personal data and thus do not help with personal identification. When you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie is not yet expired, we and Google are able to recognise that you clicked on the ad and were directed to this page. Every Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. There is no chance that cookies can be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information that is gathered using the conversion cookie is used for compiling conversion statistics. We find out the total number of users that has clicked on one of our ads and been directed to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. The processing shall be effected on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR with the legitimate interest in targeted advertising and the analysis of the impact and efficiency of this advertising.
11. YouTube and Facebook
We use YouTube, a service of YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("YouTube"), for embedding videos. YouTube is a video platform where the users post videos and make them accessible to the public. YouTube's advanced data protection mode is activated for the integrated YouTube videos on our website. This will ensure that YouTube does not store any information about you when merely calling up our Internet offering. However, please be aware that the YouTube videos embedded on our website always establish a connection to YouTube when you click on a YouTube video and view it. This happens in order to guarantee the technical transmission of the video. Data is transferred to YouTube through the established connection. YouTube also stores cookies on your end device. If you are logged in to YouTube as a member when you call up our website, then it is possible for YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour to your user account. If you do not want such an assignment, then you have to log out of your user accounts with YouTube and Google before visiting our website and delete the respective cookies in your browser settings. More information about data collection, processing and usage by YouTube can be found in the privacy statement of Google online at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
The provider uses the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") on the website. With this feature the provider can specifically target visitors to the website with ads by placing personalised, interest-related Facebook ads for website visitors when they visit the social network Facebook. To implement the function Facebook's remarketing tag is implemented on the provider's website. With this tag a direct connection to the Facebook servers is established when visiting the website. Data about which of our websites you visited is transferred to the Facebook server. Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook account. More information about the collection and usage of the data by Facebook, about your rights regarding this issue and possibilities for protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook's data protection notices online at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you do not want Facebook to assign the collected information directly to your Facebook account, you can deactivate the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" here. You must be logged on to Facebook to do this. Please click on the button in order to prevent the collection of your data by means of Facebook Pixel on our website
When you click on the link an "Opt-Out" cookie is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, then you must click on the link again. In addition, the opt-out only applies in the browser used by you and only within our web domain on which the link was clicked.
12. SSL encryption
This page uses SSL encryption for security reasons and for protection when transferring confidential content, e.g. the requests that you send us. An encrypted connection can be recognised by the lock symbol in the browser line and by the fact that the address line of the browser jumps from "http://" to "https://". If the SSL encryption is activated, the data that you send us cannot be read by third parties.
Our regular newsletter can be ordered and received anonymously by every user. So that we can personally address you, please state your surname and first name. Besides your e-mail address, we also require confirmation that you are the owner of the stated e-mail address and are happy to receive the newsletter (Double Opt-In). This data shall only be collected for the purpose of sending you the newsletter and documenting our right to do so. For the dispatch of the newsletter we use a service provider who stores your data in accordance with the legal regulations. You may cancel the order of the newsletter and revoke your consent to the storage of the e-mail address at any time.
14. Advertising of other companies and links to other pages
Insofar as we advertise for other companies on our websites, we mark this advertising accordingly. With the judgement dated 12 May 1998, "Liability for Links" (312 O 85/98), the District Court of Hamburg clearly decided that one has to if necessary also answer for contents of the linked site by the attachment of a link, i.e. can be made liable; this can only be prevented by dissociating oneself expressly from these contents, which MEVACO GmbH now does. MEVACO GmbH shall not forward any data to non-EU countries without your consent, unless required to do so for business processing and expressly permitted by the BDSG.
15. Security notices
We assure you that we shall store your personal data with the aid of technical and organisational measures so that it is not accessible to third parties. For e-mail communication complete data security cannot be guaranteed by us, hence why we recommend sending confidential information by post.
If you have any questions about data protection at MEVACO GmbH, you can contact our Data Protection Officer, who is also available should you have any suggestions or complaints. Our Data Protection Officer is Mr. Stefan Eisert, SEDC, Magdalenenweg 12, 85457 Wörth // Tel.: 08123 928639 // Mobile: 0173 481 6006 // E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
